MEDai, Inc. to Team With CSC for D/SIDDOMS II Contract
to Support Military Health System

Orlando, FL – MEDai, Inc. will team with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) of Falls Church, Virginia, to provide its Artificial Intelligence Healthcare Systems for the Defense Medical Information Management/Systems Integration, Design, Development, Operations, and Maintenance Services II (D/SIDDOMS II) contract recently awarded by the Department of Defense. The award is an expanded requirement to the current D/SIDDOMS contract. The resultant contracts will be Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contracts for use by all components of the Military Health Services System (MHSS) to support their medical information management systems needs. It may also be made available to other agencies to use appropriate support capabilities required by the Department of Defense to accomplish its Health Affairs mission.

The DoD MHSS is one of the largest health care systems, supporting 120 military hospitals and 500 clinics. MHSS delivers services to more than 1.7 million active duty service members and to 6.2 million military retirees, dependents and beneficiaries.

Teammates to CSC were selected on their ability to apply only technology that is mature enough to reliably satisfy their aggressive goals. MEDai's proposal for the project was evaluated on the degree of customer satisfaction with performance, the degree of effectiveness in managing and directing resources and in demonstrating reasonable and cooperative behavior in dealing with customers, the degree of quality for services offered, the degree of quality for cost control activities and degree of timeliness of service and product delivery. MEDai's staff was also evaluated on their scope of experience, significance of professional and educational accomplishments, applicability and quality of education and depth and breadth of skills and knowledge.
