MEDai Named One of Central Florida’s Fastest Growing
Technology Companies in the “Fast 50” Program

Orlando, FL (August 15, 2000) – MEDai, Inc. has been named to the Central Florida Technology Fast 50 List, a ranking of the fastest growing technology companies in the area. Rankings are based on the percentage of growth in revenues from 1995-1999 (five- year period).

Andrew Larkowich, Chief Operating Officer at MEDai, credits the company's vision and utilitarian artificial intelligence-based product lines for the company's phenomenal growth. "Our founders Steve Epstein and Diane Lee both had practical healthcare backgrounds. The system concepts they developed using their hands-on experience have been very well accepted by the industry," Mr. Larkowich said.

MEDai's increase in revenue of 238 percent was responsible for the company being included in the Fast 50 List. To qualify, companies must have 1995 operating revenues of at least $50,000 and 1999 operating revenues of at least $1,000,000; must be a U.S. company developing and/or providing technology products or services; and must have been in business for at least five years.

The finalists are eligible to compete in the "Technology 500," list also sponsored by Deloitte & Touche which ranks the nation's top 500 fastest growing technology companies. Technology companies in business a minimum of three years were eligible for the Rising Star award. Winners of the regional Fast 50 programs in the United States are automatically entered in the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 500 program.
