MEDai, Inc. is Recognized by Deloitte & Touche as One of
Central Florida’s Fastest Growing Technology Companies for the Second Year in a Row

Orlando, FL (September 2001) – MEDai, Inc has been named to the prestigious “Fast 50 Program” for the second year in a row. Deloitte & Touch, one of the nation’s leading professional services firms, have once again recognized MEDai as one of the fastest growing technology companies in Central Florida.

To be eligible the finalists must be a “technology company,” specifically defined as a company that develops proprietary technology, which contributes to a significant portion of the company’s operating revenues, manufactures a technology-related product or devotes a high percentage of effort to the research and development of technology.

“In an era where technology companies come and go like shooting stars, making the Deloitte & Touche Fast 50 is a testament to a company’s leadership and its ability to not only have the right solution for that moment in time, but also the vision that allows growth over five years. MEDai has proven that they have the right stuff to succeed, and we at Deloitte & Touche salute its accomplishments,” said Mike Harding, partner-in-charge of the North Florida Technology and Communications Group.

Steve Epstein, President and Co-founder of MEDai, credits the company’s vision and utilitarian artificial intelligence-based product lines for their phenomenal growth. “Co-founder, Diane Lee and I both had practical healthcare backgrounds. The system concepts we developed from our handson experience, and the products that our entire MEDai team created from those concepts have been very well accepted by the industry,” Mr. Epstein said.

The finalist are eligible to compete in the “Fast 500” list, also sponsored by Deloitte & Touche, which ranks the nation’s top 500 fastest growing technology companies.

MEDai, Inc., headquartered in Orlando, FL, is a computer information services company, software developer and tools provider that uses artificial intelligence to assist healthcare providers and payors in the measurement of quality, efficiency, disease severity, and outcomes with superior predictability.
