Leading US Benefits Consultant Partners with
MEDai to Utilize Risk Navigator Clinical
for National Predictive Modeling Initiative

Orlando, FL (December 9, 2003) – MEDai, Inc., an Orlando-based firm that assists healthcare organizations in improving care by identifying high-risk patients, announced that it has partnered with Predictive Health, LLC of Scottsdale, Arizona. The agreement will provide clients of Acordia, one of the nation’s largest benefit/consulting firms, with Risk Navigator Clinical, a high quality predictive modeling solution.

Predictive Health facilitates the production and use of predictive modeling for the improvement of care. “We look forward to using the information from Risk Navigator Clinical to drive quality improvement for all of Acordia’s clients” said E. Burt Brill, CEO of Predictive Health. “MEDai’s tool will allow us to match members with the best care available in a cost effective way,” he added.

According to Tom Kaminsky, Senior Vice President of Acordia, ”Employers came to us asking for help with identifying high-risk patients. We believe MEDai’s award-winning technology can help them control healthcare costs and provide more effective care management, ultimately enhancing quality of life.” Acordia, a division of Wells Fargo, plans to start using MEDai’s predictive modeling technology with select clients during the first quarter of 2004.

“We at MEDai are excited about this new partnership,” said Steve Epstein, President and CEO of MEDai, Inc. “Healthcare providers and payors are facing increasing demand to demonstrate that they are providing quality healthcare, while facing increasing cost constraints. Accurate predictive modeling systems like Risk Navigator Clinical enable employers to obtain new levels of excellence in care management programs from healthcare providers.”
